We named Calypso (Callie) after the warm but spicy sounds of Island Calypso drums.

Callie has an unspoken presence and spice about her; in her personality, carriage and her soft look. She is willing and extremely studious in her actions. Naturally gaited and our only filly of 08, she holds her own with the boys and we couldn't be more pleased with the mix of personalities from this foal crop.

Pictured here at three days old, Callie has carried a sense of elegance and natural gait since birth.

Callie and Cimarron both arrived early and within 24 hrs of each other in the heat of the summer. She is strategic in the thoughts and managed to out smart the horseflies by out running them in a self-determined obstacle course and ending up under a low lying fir branch after loosing the horsefly :) pictured with the end results below ...
