We changed the landscape! A much dreamed of barn and indoor riding arena now sits on an old, dusty and rocky paddock that was very poor for pasture but great drainage.
Like life, this has been a journey ... when we first relocated it was exciting to have our first barn ever - there were definitely lots of plans for that barn.
Then the realization sunk in ~ the 'historic' log barn was exactly that - a reminiscent of the past, was good for a few cows in its day but now not a healthy environment to work in let alone to bring up foals.
The dream is back! Four years later we were able to start construction on a new facility and have put together a Slide Show of the construction - we are really looking forward to finishing the inside this spring.
